Tiemoue Bakayoko is rethinking his intentions to sign permanently with AC Milan.
The on-loan Chelsea midfielder was eager to see his loan turned into an outright transfer after winning over coach Rino Gattuso with his form since the winter break.
However, the racist abuse he received from Lazio ultras before Milan's Coppa Italia semifinal defeat left him stunned.
La Repubblica says Bakayoko now wants to return to London and Chelsea - even if it means he's left in the stands next season.
He has told friends: "How can you stay in Italy in 2019, where it is normal to be mocked for the colour of your skin?"
Chelsea and Milan had aimed to do business over Bakayoko for €35m.
