John Fredriksen, the Norwegian shipping billionaire, is considering a bid for Tottenham.

Fredriksen, who turned down Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich's reputed £100million offer for his Old Rectory house near Stamford Bridge, is understood to be one of those interested in buying Tottenham, a club who could easily be for sale if the price is right.
