Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood admits even finishing in the top four may not keep him in his job.
Sherwood claims chairman Daniel Levy is keeping his cards close to his chest about what it will take to secure his long-term future at the club.
He said: "I don't even know if top four gets me the job. You will have to ask the chairman but he doesn't give much away.
"You certainly wouldn't want to play poker against him!
"If there are any changes made that will be me gone. It's easier to survive the chop when you are working with the kids and the development squad, like I was previously."
