Former Tottenham striker Teddy Sheringham says it's time for Harry Kane to leave.

Kane, 29, has just over a year to run on his contract and a target for Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

Sheringham said, "After all that Kane has done for Tottenham, management should treat him with respect.

"Kane has the right to determine his own future. If Harry says he wants to leave, then (chairman Daniel) Levy must comply with his request."

Kane has made 35 Premier League appearances this season, scoring 26 goals and 3 assists.
