Cillian Sheridan says he hopes Francisco Sandaza does not depart the club during the winter transfer window.
The Spanish striker is attracting heavy interest from Rangers but Sheridan, on loan from CSKA Sofia, feels the pair have formed a strong on-field bond and wants him to remain at McDiarmid Park for the rest of the season.
"St Johnstone have looked after me during my injury and it would have been bad to walk out on them.
"Me and Fran had a good partnership before I got injured and I wouldn't want to see him leave during the transfer window.""I'm happy to be staying," Sheridan told the Daily Record.
