Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani is ready to up his offer for Manchester United.

The representative of the Qatari royal family is determined to buy the Premier League giants.

Al-Thani is bidding against Sir Jim Ratcliffe's INEOS for the club, which the Glazer family is selling.

Per The Mirror, the Qatari bid will go up to £5.5 billion this week after they met with United representatives last week.

Ratcliffe has stated in a recent Wall Street Journal interview that he was reluctant to overpay for United.

He is not believed to have put in an offer that reaches such a figure, clearing the way for the Qataris.
