Manchester United's prospective owner Sheikh Jassim of Qatar has submitted a further bid to buy the club.
Per The Mail, Sheikh Jassim is not giving up on his notion of owning the Red Devils.
While Sir Jim Ratcliffe of INEOS is said to have the upper hand in negotiations, the Qatari royal family are not quitting.
Their latest offer gets closer to the asking price set by the Glazer family that owns United.
However, the bid is not over the £6 billion figure the family had set to sell the club.
INEOS' bid is said to allow the Glazers to remain as minority shareholders for the time being.
