Sheikh Jassim convinced winning battle for Man Utd

Qatar's Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani believes he has the upper hand to buy Manchester United.

A representative of the nation's royal family, Al Thani is hoping to conclude a sale of United in the coming months.

The Red Devils are the subject of interest from the Qataris and British billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe, along with other parties who have not been named.

Per The Telegraph, Al Thani believes his bid will be the strongest and will be sufficient for the Glazer family to accept.

Both parties met with United officials past week to go over club accounts and other matters.

Improved offers from both the Qataris and Ratcliffe's INEOS are expected in the coming days.
