Newcastle United winger Elliot Anderson is attracting Championship interest.'

Chronicle Live reports Anderson was held back from a loan move in the first half of the season and has added more experience to his CV with two starts in the League Cup and some Premier League substitute appearances.

It is thought that Sheffield Wednesday, Preston North End and Luton are all keen on a loan deal.

Toon manager Eddie Howe was keen to keep him around for the first half of the season back in the summer but has not started him in a Premier League game yet. Some action could be forthcoming in the FA Cup tie at Sheff Wed and Howe may want to hold on to the attacking midfielder due to Jonjo Shelvey's injury recently.
