Sheffield Wednesday goalkeeper Lee Grant is a £1.5 million target for Birmingham City.
The Sunday Mirror says Brum boss Alex McLeish wants a long-term successor to veteran Northern Ireland No.1 Maik Taylor, and has made Grant his top target after a series of late-season form checks on the former England under-21 international.
Grant, 26, has been an ever-present for the Owls this term and has re-discovered the form that made him one of the top young goalkeeping prospects in the country at Derby.
Hillsborough boss Brian Laws has hailed his stopper as "the best in the Championship" and handed him a new three-year deal last month.
