Sheffield Wednesday keeper coach Tommy Lee leaves for Sheffield Utd

Sheffield Wednesday academy goalkeeping coach Tommy Lee has left to join Sheffield United.

The Sheffield Star reports Lee has been praised for his work in developing the likes of Josh Render during his time at Wednesday but now moves on to work in the academy at Shirecliffe under Blades academy manager Jack Lester, who played alongside Lee at Chesterfield.

It is understood he will operate in a similar role to the one he held at Wednesday.

He is a former Chesterfield goalkeeper, winning the League Two title twice and helping his side to Johnstone's Paint Trophy success in 2012.
