Sheffield Wednesday are eyeing Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher.

The Sun says Wednesday aim to order a double Scotch to fire up a fresh promotion push.

The Owls fancy Blackburn centre-half Grant Hanley and free agent Fletcher.

Scotland defender Hanley, who is sought after by several clubs, will cost about £5million.

Fletcher, capped 28 times by the Scots, is available after a brief spell with Marseille.

But the striker wants £40,000 a week and that has put the chase for him on hold until his demands come down.
