Sheffield Wednesday boss Garry Monk was left frustrated after their FA Cup defeat to Manchester City.

Monk was pleased with his side's display and felt Sargio Aguero's matchwinning goal would have been chalked off if VAR had been in operation.

“Overall, I'm disappointed to lose the game to a goal that should have been offside," said the Owls boss.

“I would rather have lost to a goal that was more legitimate.

“What is strange is having VAR in some grounds and not others, but I'm not complaining. It is what it is and I was delighted with my players' effort."
