Sheffield United's hopes of luring Gary Speed away from Bolton Wanderers appears to have been dashed.
Speed was at loggerheads with Bolton boss Sammy Lee, but with the latter now having left the Reebok stadium, it's unlikely midfielder Speed will be seeking a move away.
