Sheffield United are moving for IFK Gothenburg midfielder Alhassan Yusuf.

The young Nigerian has attracted firm interest from Wolves this season.

However, Gothenburg Post reports the Blades have tabled a bid for Yusuf this week.

United have offered €1.5m for Yusuf, though it falls short of the €3.5m IFK are seeking to sell the 19 year-old.

The Blades' offer could bring Wolves to the negotiating table before Friday's deadline.
