Sheffield United have failed with a bid for Trabzonspor goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.

Fotospor says the Blades have seen a £11million bid rejected for Cakir.

Cakir, 23, has attracted the interest of numerous Premier League clubs including Liverpool and Manchester United.

The Blades are looking for a new keeper with loanee Dean Henderson set to return to Manchester United at the end of the season.

It is claimed that Chris Wilder's side have launched an £11m offer which has been firmly rejected.

Sheffield United want to keep Henderson for at least another season but remain in the dark over Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans for the talent.
