Sheffield United star Ched Evans wants to play for Team Great Britain at the London Olympics.
Former Manchester City striker Evans is on Team GB boss Stuart Pearce's radar after plundering 31 goals for League One promotion chasers Sheffield United this season.
He said: "If I was asked, then it is something I would definitely look at doing.
"If the chance was there then, like anyone else, I would certainly have to think about it.
"I am chuffed to bits to get 30 goals in a season. I didn't think it would be possible, but I've done it and now my target is to reach 35.
"Every time I hit the ball at the moment I feel as if it's going to go in. It doesn't bother me if I miss because I know the rest of the lads are going to create another chance for me pretty soon.
"I'm loving it at Sheffield United and I am enjoying my football so much because the manager lets us express ourselves. The whole place is buzzing."
