Sheffield United have been named as a suitor for Genoa ace Christian Kouame.

21-year-old Kouame made 33 league starts for Genoa - scoring four goals and making five assists - after joining from Serie B side Citadella last summer.

According to Italian outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, Bologna are being challenged by the newly promoted Blades for Kouame's signature.

The Serie A club are demanding €15m for the Ivory Coast U21 international.
