Sheffield United have made a move for Manchester City attacker James McAtee.
The youngster is open to joining the Blades on-loan for the new season.
Premier League trio Bournemouth, Leeds and Nottingham Forest are all keen, though the Blades are now regarded as favourites to sign McAtee.
McAtee made his Premier League debut as a substitute in City's 3-0 win over Everton last November.
He was also handed a taste of Champions League football in the second leg of the last-16 clash with Sporting Lisbon.
