Liverpool are determined to keep hold of Harvey Elliott this summer.

Sheffield United have expressed interest in taking the attacker on-loan.

The Athletic reports United have enquired after Elliott, who impressed so much at Blackburn Rovers last season.

Sources at Anfield insist the 18-year-old will not be loaned out despite plenty of interest from the Championship.

They will need cover for Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane during the delayed Africa Cup of Nations in January.
