Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson has vowed to 'come back stronger' after his howler gifted Liverpool victory at Sheffield United.

United loanee Henderson let Georginio Wijnaldum's straight shot slip through his hands and go in between his legs to secure a vital 1-0 win for the Premier League leaders at Bramall Lane on Saturday.

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder was scathing in his assessment of Henderson's performance.

But on his Instagram page, Henderson said: "Got my head held high. Can't wait to get back out there!! I always come back stronger, thanks for your support Bladesmen."
