Sheffield United are in contact with Manchester United about keeping hold of Dean Henderson next season.

Goalkeeper Henderson is coming to the end of a two-year loan spell with the Blades and his stock has soared as a result of some terrific performances.

Today, Wilder admitted he wants to keep the goalkeeper next year but conceded that decision lies solely with United.

"I have left it with Manchester United," he said. "We have expressed our interest in Dean coming back next year.

"But I don't want to keep pushing that button.

"He needs to focus on a big 10 games coming up and possibly more in the cup and international games too."
