Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder is still hopeful of doing a deal to loan Dean Henderson from Manchester United.
The England under-21 star was on loan at Sheffield for the past season, helping them gain promotion to the Championship.
It is unclear if he will stay at United for the new season or go back out on loan.
For his part, Wilder hopes he can have Henderson for another season.
He said to Sky Sports News: "We had a great relationship with Manchester United last season and Dean was outstanding for us.
"Manchester United, ourselves and the boy are obviously the main players in the decision.
"Dean has made noises that he'd love to come back here; we'd love to have him back so we're hopeful of coming to an agreement.
"From my point of view and the point of view of the boy's development, this is a great place to play his football next year."
