Sheffield United have expressed interest in Anderlecht fullback Elias Cobbaut.

HLN says the Blades have made enquiries after the 22 year-old and are willing to make an offer for the Belgium international.

Cobbaut has fought his way into first team reckoning in recent months, but Anderlecht would be willing to sell for the right price.

The Blades raided Belgium last summer to sign goalkeeper Michael Verrips from KV Mechelen.

Along with United, Atalanta are also interested in Cobbaut.
