Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer was impressed by West Ham winger Martin Samuelsen last night.

The teen shone for loan club Peterborough United in their eventual FA Cup defeat to West Brom.

"He's been one of the stars of the show," said Shearer.

"The way he has handled himself. Left foot, right foot, on loan from West Ham, 18 years of age.

"It looks as if he feels he belongs on this stage."
