Newcastle United boss Alan Shearer doesn't want anyone feeling sorry for themselves at St James' Park.

"I want smiles, I want people happy this week, I want people with a buzz," he said.

"I don't want any morbid faces around the training ground. And, to be fair, there haven't been.

"It has been very difficult to ask them to smile when they have been beaten but there is no time for people to feel sorry for themselves."
