Former England captain Alan Shearer says Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has "stopped" working off the ball.
Lukaku recorded a Premier League record low for the amount of touches of the ball in victory at Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Some might argue Chelsea are not creating enough for him. But Match of the Day pundit Shearer, who knows the centre-forward's beat better than most, was scathing.
“Just seven touches in the game is absolutely incredible and at times he's not showing enough for the ball," said Shearer.
“He's actually stopped running at times because the ball is not coming to him and there were numerous examples of that.
“There's no point in paying £97 million for a striker and not playing to his strengths.
“It's very frustrating and I know what I would be doing at half-time or on the training ground. He's got to demand the ball and make sure his team-mates are prepared to pass it to him."
