Luke Shaw says he is "devastated" after Southampton were dumped out of the FA Cup at Sunderland.
The fullback insists the Saints players were dreaming of Wembley.
He told Saints Player: "I'm devastated. I wanted to win this competition and so did every other player in that dressing room.
"Everyone's dream is to play at Wembley, and young players like me, Prowsey (James Ward-Prowse) and Calum [Chambers] wanted to achieve that.
"Every time we come to Sunderland we know it's going to be a very tough game because we haven't beaten them in six games, but today we were not good enough.
"In the second half today I think that we gave the ball away cheaply and that's when they took advantage and scored."
