Stoke City manager Mark Hughes confirms that Xherdan Shaqiri will make his debut for the Potters against Norwich City.
There is a lot of excitement surrounding Stoke at the moment ahead of new signing Shaqiri's potential debut and to appease the Stoke faithful, Hughes has now confirmed that the Swiss international will be featuring against the Canaries at Carrow Road this weekend.
When asked if Shaqiri would make an appearance against Norwich, Hughes said: "I would think so, at some stage. There's decisions to be made about who starts the game and who starts on the bench.
"He's been very good (in training). Given the fact he's had another week's training with the group, he's the better for it.
"If I'd thrown him in (at Tottenham) after a couple of light training sessions, it might have been more difficult for him."
