rSwiss international Xherdan Shaqiri admits his frustration over game time at the club.

The right winger has only played off the bench twice this season, which is a similar story to last season.

While Shaqiri has made important contributions, he knows that he is having a tough time dislodging the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane from the wide positions.

It is possible that Shaqiri will ask for a transfer in January, but a move next summer is the outcome that looks the most likely.

"It is not easy for me, of course I am a little downbeat," Shaqiri told Teleclub.

"You have to be able to handle that and you have to accept it, I was always still in the squad.

"You cannot ask the coach to play every match."
