Shandong Luneng midfielder Marouane Fellaini admits the first-half of the season at Manchester United was difficult for the players.
Jose Mourinho was sacked as United manager in December, and replacement Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has overseen a transformation in playing style, results and atmosphere within the side.
Fellaini, who left United last month, told HLN: “A lot has changed at Manchester United, which was immediately apparent when the new coach started. But that's part of football, you have highs and lows.
“We have had a bad period under Mourinho, but now the team is back on top.
"All the better for the club."
