Shandong Luneng FC midfielder Marouane Fellaini has revealed contact with PSG last month.

The former Manchester United powerhouse signed for Shandong Luneng on transfer deadline day last month for a fee of £9m.

And speaking with Telefoot, Fellaini admits he also had contact with PSG as he contemplated leaving United.

In a Q&A, he declared: "Yes, I could have joined the PSG, I would have liked that."

It's suggested PSG dropped their interest in Fellaini after securing a deal for former Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Leandro Paredes.
