Bournemouth have lost winger David Brooks for three months after a second ankle operation this season.
Brooks had an operation on his troublesome ankle in the summer but that failed to cure the problem and he's now been forced to go under the knife for a second time.
The winger has travelled to the private Aspire clinic in Qatar for the procedure, which has been used by a host of footballers for expert treatment, says the Daily Mail.
Brooks' injury means Bournemouth are now without nine first team players through injury, including defender Nathan Ake who suffered a hamstring injury in the defeat to Liverpool.
Callum Wilson is another notable absentee having also picked up a hamstring problem, though his injury isn't expected to keep him out for long.
Defender Steve Cook is also set to undergo an operation on a broken wrist, while full-back Adam Smith is nursing an ankle injury.
Josh King (hamstring), Lloyd Kelly (thigh), and Charlie Daniels (dislocated knee), are others on the sidelines.
