Shakespeare overseeing Leicester sell-off

Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare is ready to oversee a mini clearout.

The Daily Mail says Leicester are open to balancing the books by listening to offers for a number of fringe players. Nampalys Mendy looks set for a return to France with Bordeaux, while Ahmed Musa and Ron Robert-Zieler may also leave.

The future of record signing Islam Slimani is also uncertain but Leicester are yet to receive any bids for the striker who cost £30m last summer.

Riyad Mahrez's £50m valuation is proving a barrier to his desires for a move away while there has also been interest in Kasper Schmeichel.
