Sevilla win again to defeat Huesca

Sevilla took their winning run in all competitions to nine games on Saturday after beating Huesca 1-0 at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan.

Munir El Haddadi grabbed the only goal of the game in the 57th minute, but it was Bono between the sticks that kept Sevilla in with a chance of emerging with all three points.

Sevilla, fresh off beating Barcelona in the first leg of their Copa del Rey semi-final in midweek and with a slightly rotated XI, looked the more likely team to score in the first half, although they were almost caught out on occasion.

It took until the 57th minute for the opening goal in the game to arrive, and it did so from the head of Munir. Oliver Torres just about to got to Aleix Vidal's pass and crossed the ball in from the byline, which hung in the air and allowed Munir to come onto it and head past Alvaro.

In the final period of the match, Bono became the hero. The Sevilla goalkeeper got down well in the 76th minute to stop a Rafa Mir header from going in, and then in the 88th minute he saved a Sergio Gomez volley before getting a hand to Rafa Mir's follow-up effort. Nemanja Gudelj then cleared the ball away.
