Angers midfielder Baptiste Santamaria is attracting LaLiga interest.

The 25 year-old has been one of the revelations of the season in Ligue 1 and drawn comparisons with Chelsea star N'Golo Kante.

Marca says Santamaria's form this term has Sevilla sports chief Monchi following his progress closely, while Villarreal are also keen.

Valued at around €10m, this season he has played 30 games (28 in the League and two in the Cup) and has scored a goal and provided an assist.

While not yet capped, Santamaria is under consideration for a first France call-up by coach Didier Deschamps.
