Europa League champions Sevilla are planning a swoop for John Guidetti.

Guidetti is currently available on a free transfer following the expiration of his contract at Manchester City and a host of clubs have expressed their interest in signing the striker this summer.

Talk of Guidetti's future had been put on hold over the last few weeks due to the striker's participation in Sweden's triumphant UEFA Under-21 European Championship campaign and following the conclusion of the tournament, the striker is now being pursued by Sevilla.

Guidetti, who spent last season on loan with Scottish champions Celtic, scored the first penalty for his country as Sweden beat Portugal 4-3 in a shootout to win the final of the UEFA U21 Euros in Prague on Tuesday night.
