Tottenham face competition from Sevilla for AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek.
Sportmediaset says while Tottenham have been mooted to have interested in the £30million-rated forward, Sevilla are now 'leading contenders' to sign the Polish striker in January.
Tottenham have made an enquiry for Piatek with an initial proposal to take the 25-year old on loan.
That is understood to have been rejected with Milan holding out for £30m in a bid to recoup their investment from Genoa a year ago.
Crystal Palace, Aston Villa and Newcastle are also interested in Piatek but Tottenham would hold the advantage should he look to make the move to England.
