Sevilla striker Javier Chevanton is keen to return to Lecce for the new season.

The Uruguayan striker was a hero at the Stadio Via del Mare, scoring 45 goals in 88 games for the club between 2001 and 2004.

"There is this possibility," he told Sky Sport Italia. "There are negotiations currently underway.

"Lecce is my home and to return to the Via del Mare would be a dream come true."
