Steven N'Zonzi is confident Sam Allardyce will be back managing in the Premier League sooner than later.
The 62-year-old was removed from his post as England manager in late September after being caught up in a newspaper sting.
Sevilla star N'Zonzi, who played under Big Sam at Blackburn Rovers, feels his old mentor will make a return to top flight coaching in the not too distant future.
"It is sad what happened," said ex-Stoke City ace N'Zonzi of the former Sunderland and West Ham United boss.
"There is much to it, I know, but I think he will come back very soon.
"He has done a lot in England and the Premier League, and is still one of the best managers around
"I think he is going to come back, despite what mistakes he has made - he is that big in England. Premier League clubs, especially ones that might be struggling, would love to have a manager like Sam, no matter what has happened in the past.
"Obviously there is more to it, and hopefully people can forgive him. In my experience, he is a good man."
