Sevilla sporting director Monchi is unsure when their Europa League tie with Roma will be held.
The two sides were due to clash on Thursday in the Europa League Round of 16.
“I'm not sure a solution can be found quickly," the director of sport told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Playing in a neutral venue is one of several ideas being considered by UEFA, but I don't think it's easy to find a country willing to welcome us.
“Things are constantly changing, what is ok today mightn't be tomorrow. The problem is serious and the medical picture is highly variable.
“If, in any moment of the season, UEFA believes that, for any reason, a venue may not be suitable for organising a match, it may consult the federation and the club in question and ask them to propose an alternative venue, in accordance with the UEFA requirements.
“In the event that such federations and clubs cannot propose an acceptable alternative within the deadline set by UEFA, UEFA may choose a neutral alternative venue."
