Departing Manchester United midfielder Juan Mata is eyeing a move to Seville.

It was announced this week that Mata will leave United when his contract expires this month.

Mata will almost certainly continue his career in the Andalusian capital, although the information whether he joins Julen Lopetegui's Sevilla or the Real Betis of Manuel Pellegrini is yet to be decided.

Sevilla and Betis have long been considered as possible destinations by Mata's management team.

Mundo Deportivo says both clubs are now in talks with the veteran about a return to Spain for next season.
