Sevilla president Castro: If Navas leaves Man City...

Sevilla president Jose Castro has played down interest in Manchester City winger Jesus Navas.

Navas spent 13 years at Sevilla, in their academy and in their first team, before leaving for City in the summer of 2013.

He was tipped to return to the La Liga outfit earlier this year following the arrival of Pep Guardiola at the Etihad, although Sevilla president Castro insists no talks over a transfer took place.

When asked about Navas on Cadena COPE, he said: “We have not had contact during the summer despite what was said. It's logical that if he leaves City one day he wants to return here, but this year there has been no interest or negotiation."
