La Liga club Sevilla have dropped their interest in Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen, according to Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo.

The report claims that Sevilla have decided to give up their pursuit after learning that the Reds value the Wales international at £14million.

Allen's former club Swansea City remain interested in the 26-year-old despite already having an initial bid of £8m rejected by Liverpool.
