Sevilla are keen to bring Lyon striker Mariano Diaz back to Spain.

Mariano was a revelation for Lyon in his first season in France having joined last summer from Real Madrid.

Estadio Deportivo says Sevilla sports chief Joaquin Caparros is moving for the striker this month.

However, after spending €8m to sign Mariano, OL president Jean Michel Aulas insists the striker will only leave for crazy money.

Last season, Mariano scored an impressive 18 goals in Ligue 1.
