Sevilla into top 4 after victory over Alaves

Sevilla beat Alaves 2-1 in LaLiga Santander on Tuesday evening.

All three goals were netted in the opening half hour, with the visitors going ahead inside three minutes.

The opener came through Youssef En-Nesyri, bagging his eighth goal in just 10 LaLiga Santander starts this season, also grabbing Sevilla's earliest away goal since Carlos Bacca's at Real Valladolid in October 2013.

But that lead didn't last long, and Alaves were back on terms within 10 minutes of falling behind, with Edgar Mendez levelling things up.

A stunning strike from Suso saw Sevilla get their noses in front again on the half hour mark, and they were able to stay on top from there to see things out.

The win sees Julen Lopetegui's side climb back into the top four, one point ahead of Villarreal in fifth and one point off Barcelona in third.
