Sevilla hoping to deal in Chelsea's Marin

Chelsea winger Marko Marin is edging closer to a permanent move to Sevilla.

Reports suggest that the Sevillistas are keen to bring the 25-year old German to Andalusia on a less temporary basis following his season-long loan at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

Marin told Bild: "Sevilla want to keep me happy. The club also wants to buy me but we'll have to wait and see what Chelsea decide."

Marin, who joined Chelsea from Werder Bremen in 2012, started slowly under Unai Emery but the second half of the campaign was much more successful.

He has made 18 La Liga appearances, including 10 starts, and also came on as a second-half sub in Wednesday night's Europa League final win over Benfican which ended in a penalty shootout.
