Sevilla goalkeeper Bono has welcomed the appointment of new coach Jose Luis Mendilibar.

Mendilibar has replaced Jorge Sampaoli, signing to the end of the season.

Bono said: "It is a positive move.

"I already know him (Mendilibar) from his time at Eibar. Personally, it seems to me a very positive, very good thing. Together we will go towards the goal.

"You have to focus one hundred percent there and do your best to turn things around situation."
