Sevilla foursome apologise for breaking lockdown rules

Sevilla's players have apologised for breaking local lockdown rules.

Ever Banega, Lucas Ocampos, Mudo Vazquez and Luuk de Jong all appeared in photos with eight other people enjoying a day at home.

In the province of Seville, it is still in phase 1 of the coronavirus de-escalation and meetings in private homes of more than ten people are not allowed.

Amazingly, as has been seen in England also, players cannot help themselves from taking shots and posting to social media - which is exactly what happened with the Sevilla party.

And while some were happy to see people enjoying their lives again, it wasn't good enough for others and the backlash, driven by the local media, has seen all four Sevilla players now apologise with statements... to social media.
