Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli says he's in the dark over a move for Luis Suarez.

Suarez is coming off contract at Club Nacional after helping them win the Uruguayan championship and intends to return to Europe.

The former Barcelona and Atletico Madrid striker is being linked with Sevilla this week.

At his Champions League press conference prior to the match against Manchester City, Sampaoli was asked about the signing of the Uruguayan striker.

He responded: "Regarding Luis Suárez, I have not the slightest idea..."
